Life has a way of keeping us on our toes—one minute, we’re surfing the highs, and the next, we’re face-planting into a wave we didn’t see coming. "Lehar" (pronounced leh-her) means "wave" in several South Asian languages (Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, and more). Waves remind us that life is in constant motion—sometimes smooth, sometimes a total wipeout, but always moving forward.
Mental wellbeing works the same way. You don’t have to fight the tides alone (and let’s be honest, treading water forever sounds exhausting). With evidence-based therapies and compassionate guidance, I’ll help you build resilience, ride the waves, and maybe even enjoy the journey. Let’s navigate the ups and downs together—one wave at a time.
Lehar Psychology is situated on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations) and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. I acknowledge these and all Indigenous peoples, their gifts, heritage and traditions. In the spirit of reconciliation, I recognize the impacts of colonization, pay my respects to the elders past, present and future, and commit to doing my best while on this land.
